If you are wondering how to buy wholesale or how to sell wholesale, you must attend trade shows and apparel markets!

Trade Shows are a major source of inspiration and empower you to stay abreast of emerging fashion trends and emerging brands in the fashion industry.

As a former Corporate Retail Buyer for several Fortune 500 Retailers, attending trade shows was, and still is, truly an inspirational high for me, and my absolute favorite part about being in the retail industry!

DeAnna McIntosh, Retail Growth Strategist and Business Consultant at her office in Atlanta, Georgia

Hi there! I’m DeAnna McIntosh.

I help Retailers increase and diversify their revenue, without spending a penny on ads, and in just one day.

I’m the first person Retail Entrepreneurs hire when they’re in the process of scaling their stores and need the structure, strategy, and systems to scale profitably. Or if they are ready to grow their revenue beyond what’s currently in their reach, diversify their revenue streams, and serve their customers in unexpected ways.

I strongly encourage retailers and boutiques to attend to discover new products and ways to refresh their assortment, and for brands to attend as exhibitors to connect with new buyers, boutiques, and industry mavens, and to stay competitive in their market.

Before you jump on the next trip to China to find manufacturers, you must make sure you have first attended national trade shows – I promise you will thank me.

It makes searching for wholesale clothing for boutique owners drastically easier and more cost-effective.

If you have been thinking about attending a trade show to find wholesalers for boutiques, but are unsure where to start, we discuss this and dig deeper into buying strategy and what it takes to run a successful store during my intensives and VIP Days.

Click here to book a call with me so I can to get to know you, what your current challenges are, and learn about your vision for growth.

Making sure you are making strategic merchandise buying and inventory management decisions is crucial as you scale your brick and mortar or e-commerce store!

Attending trade shows allows you to not only see, touch, and feel the products in person, but also allows you to meet the vendors behind the products, and create relationships.

A part of being a successful Buyer is about how strong of relationships you make with your suppliers!

When you have strong supplier relationships, you can negotiate better payment terms, get early access to new products and industry insights, and can have an overall more seamless and efficient buying process.

If you would like to attend a fashion trade show with a retail industry expert, I attend trade shows with my Clients to help them navigate and maximize their time at the show, while simultaneously assisting them in executing the merchandising and buying strategy we created together.

I also often speak and host seminars at trade shows so make sure you pop in and say hi if you see me!

Oh, one more thing! I beg you – DO NOT buy merchandise vendor lists.

There are millions of products and vendors worldwide available to do business with.

A vendor list means you are purchasing the same vendors that hundreds or even thousands of other boutiques are – hence competing with one another and not creating your own brand identity – which is not a sustainable business model.

If you’ve had thoughts about purchasing a vendor list, I would recommend you ask yourself what your passion is – is it to just make money, or is it to serve unique and curated pieces to your customers?

The most exciting part of owning a boutique is the hunt for merchandise and the highs of the finds.

If trade shows seem intimidating to you, that’s what I’m here for!

Here is a list of Major U.S. Home & Fashion Trade Shows and International Home & Fashion Trade Shows you should attend in 2022.

I’ve listed both physical and digital trade shows for you!

Click the name of the trade show for boutique owners to be taken to the show website.

Note: when you see multiple shows in the same city and dates, it typically means that they are all near one another / in the same buildings so you can attend multiple shows at once.

please note – due to COVID, many trade shows have canceled their in-person experience and moved to showing digitally. Click the name of the trade show for the latest updates.

Hi, I'm DeAnna.
Your New
Growth Strategist.

Business as we know it has been forever changed - but with change, comes so many great things. Innovation, being one of the greatest. Some of today's most incredible companies were birthed during some of the toughest times in history (Instagram, Disney, IBM). Why? Because when there is pressure, when things around us seem to be out of our control and it feels that there's no way out - the curious Entrepreneurs like you find a way.

I spent 10 years working inside the corporate offices of some of the US's biggest retailers, as a Buyer, Strategy Manager, Merchandising Director, Logistics Analyst, Merchant. Fast forward to today, I ditched the corporate life to be the driving force of innovation and revenue behind small and midsize businesses like yours.
